If you are considering The Ratzingers for your wedding, just book them. Genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our entire day and I will be telling every engaged couple I meet the same thing. In fact I already am, because I've had multiple guests contact me since the wedding asking if it's okay to use them too. That says everything.

My research started with falling down a rabbit hole of their videos online, which were brilliant. I could already see they had a strong male and female lead which was important to me, but I wanted to be sure so I went to Dublin to see them play at a pub in person. They were excellent. But let me tell you, at a wedding they are on another level entirely.

Once I'd booked them, when I asked whether they could support my close friend singing our first dance they were so collaborative and made what could have been a complicated request feel completely seamless.

The sax and DJ add-on is worth every penny by the way. Do not skip it.

They had the floor absolutely packed all night and bring this enormous joyful energy that fills the whole room, while somehow never losing sight of the fact that it's your day and your guests. It never felt like a performance happening at us. It felt like a celebration happening with us. That balance is genuinely rare.

The best part? A few weeks after the wedding I got to see them play again as a regular guest with zero wedding buzz and zero rose tinted glasses. They were just as incredible. So I can confirm it wasn't just the occasion talking. They are just that good. Book them.
